The closest airport to fly into is Mobile Alabama. The taxi ride from Mobile to the coastal village of Fairhope) is about 45 minutes.
The airport at Pensacola Florida is about the same distance by time (and my favorite local airport) but will probably require renting a car since it's further in distance than the Mobile Airport.
If you rent a car, here are driving directions to the office: (1) Take airport boulevard to I-65. (2) Go south on I-65 until you get to I-10; then turn left going east on I-10. (3) After a few miles, you reach the place where I-10 reaches the Mobile Bay, that's where this video starts. It ends when you get to the city of Fairhope.
Here's what you'll see me do (only 2 turns):
First you drive down I-10 until you cross the Mobile Bay, then you turn right onto 98 going south along the edge of the Bay.

More about the town of Fairhope
The closest hotel to the office in Fairhope is The Hampton Inn(23 North Section Street, Fairhope, Alabama 36532), which is one block from the office. Rates at the Hampton are usually around $99 per night.
In Fairhope, you can shop antiques and clothing and quaint places to eat, or stroll the Mobile Bay.
If you want a more luxurious resort for sleeping, then stay at the Grand Hotel where you will have access to a spa, golf, harbor, and resort pool, (about 5 minutes from the fairhope office and free transportation will be provided). Rates are usually around $200 to $300 per night. This hotel has a shuttle from the airport to the hotel but it's about $75 (almost as much as renting a car).
